hey everyone

so heres the deal .. i go to college outside of philadelphia

confused in high school why all of my friends were heading off in to the wilds, I now share the same desire

and actually, you'd probably agree its more than just desire

so my question for you is where should I go? I'd like to try to keep it less than 3 or 4 hours away since i'd have to squeeze it in to a weekend

a tent, pack and sleeping bag are on there way set to arrive monday and i sincerely hope i know where i'm going by then

what i kind of have in my head is driving up and sleeping in the car friday night .. hiking saturday to a sweet spot and spending the night .. hanging out there sunday and then heading back by sunday night .. looking around on google maps i found Van Wyck Mountain in the catskills which seemed intriguing

let me know where you think i should go

It's not where you go as much as going, right?

Get and out go check out nature but what you really need to do is take a whole summer to do it... like thru hiking the appalachian trail.

It takes time to know yourself.

i absolutely agree .. and my summer is already completely set aside for a trip through europe .. landing in paris with a backpack and throwing my inhibitions to the wind
