Hey all,

Im planning (at least trying) to work my way from Turkey to West Bank (Bethlehem) overland.
I will be volunteering in the Dheisheh refugee camp but I want to make my own way down there, possiby going through Turkey and Syria and Jordan.

I dont have much money. nearly no money. ım australian.female. and travelling solo.

any advice? any any anything would be most welcomed.

anyone travelling around mıddle east soon?

Im planning to start this trip soon, in about 2 weeks.

thank u to all those who reply.
Buses are pretty cheap through syria and jordan, expect a grilling whenyou pass through the israeli border, maybe avoid the Allenby bridge - they're really paranoid about anyone who's passed through Syria.

Otherwise the standard advice for women in arab countries - cover up, maybe even a headscarf if you want more respect, don't prolong eye contact, you probably know the score..
