i stayed there for a couple of nights and i understand why you don't like the place, but you despise it to an extent that's absolutely hilarious. to be honest, the monkey hut was kind of cool out on that lake outside of town.

yeah that place on the lake was cool but that was because the owners were nowhere near it when i went...

yup... there was this aussie couple caretaking it when i stayed there. we just got boozed up on the local moonshine, went swimming, and hitched around the lake. none of the lay in a hammock without exploring town at all and eat all your meals here thing like in town.

We have just passed our first milestone, having been on the road for just over a month now. Our trip so far has consisted of just over a week in Costa Rica and the rest in Nicaragua. So far, the travelling has been easy and safe with friendly locals always willing to lend a couple of gringo´s a hand.
